Solar Power Generation

Photovoltaic power generation is a method of converting solar energy directly into electricity using solar cells (semiconductor devices). Since its establishment in September 2013, RYOKI ENERGY Co., Ltd. has been deploying renewable energy power generation projects across Japan. We operate a total of 12 sites in Ishikawa, Ibaraki, Chiba, and Kagawa, including a site with a maximum output of 17 MW, generating about 44 MW from large-scale solar power plants.

Hydropower Generation

We are engaged in the development of renewable energy technologies and small hydropower consulting, including the “Stream” small hydropower generator. With Japan’s unique characteristics, such as precipitation levels twice the global average and steep rivers, along with our expertise in small hydropower systems and project development, we contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. Currently, we operate a 50kW power plant in Wakayama Prefecture.

Electricity Retail

We aim to achieve sustainable energy supply by utilizing renewable energy, the electricity market, and financial technologies. We provide efficient and reliable electricity services while minimizing environmental impact, helping our customers reduce electricity costs. We support the optimization of energy use and are building a foundation for a rich, sustainable energy utilization system for future societies.

With the expansion of renewable energy and the need for stable power supply, the importance of energy storage systems that can flexibly charge and discharge in response to renewable energy output fluctuations is increasing. Leveraging our experience in renewable energy power plant development and operation, as well as electricity retail services, we are promoting the development and operation of grid-scale energy storage systems, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
